Jo Ann Beard will read from and discuss her work with the writer Peter Trachtengerg. Beard is the author of two collections, Festival Days and The Boys of My Youth, and a novel, In Zanesville. Her work has received awards from the Guggenheim Foundation, the Whiting Foundation, the New York Foundation for the Arts, and the American Academy of Arts and Letters. She lives in upstate New York.
